Correction it was the Coolant Temp Sender. It controls my gauge. The coolant level is full and I have not yet gotten it tested for a light code. After I replaced the Sender unit I drove it for about 2 miles when the temp gauge maxed out and the light came on. Could it be my thermostat or could the new sending unit be faulty?
