Timing belt

The timing belt on my geo storm broke awhile back I dont really know what caused it but it was be driven at the time when it broke ive ran into a pulley that I cant remove to put a new belt on ive tired impact and everything I could think of I just cant get the pulley off it has one large nut in the middle and 4 smaller ones surrounding it any ideas would help alot

Your problems are a bit beeper than this bolt, looking at Mitchell 1 data base, this is an interference engine and a broken belt will resault in bent valves.

1 trick is to put 1/2 ratchet/socket on bolt and brace it against frame using extension pipe if necessary and then hit the starter once.

Hmm I would have never thought of that and yes I have already fixed all the bent valves
