My check engine light keeps coming on and off. It usually comes on when I am on the highway doing around 65. I occasionally smell radiator fluid. The transmission was flushed about 2 months ago and I am keeping regular on the oil change.

I checked the gas caps and they are on tight.

What could be causing this and could it be a pricey fix?

As far as the coolant smell have the cooling system pressure tested to find the leak. If your smelling coolant in the truck the heater might be leaking. The engine light will have to go on a scanner to check the codes.
