Starter solenoid

I change my starter an solenoid. Now the starter is spinning without the key being in the ignition. This only happens when I place the negative cable back on the battery.

Best check and test the starter relay and ignition switch

You may not have your wires back in the same locations as they were, on the solenoid.

Or the starter is hung up

I switch the wires around even put the old solenoid back on. And it still doin tht. What do you mean by starter hung up.(Bad starter)?

Disonnect the red and lite blue wire on the starter relay-and check for power-if present replace the ignition switch-
