I got a 1990 cadillac fleetwood wont iddle right and loose power when going up hill I done changed plugs, had convertor checked wires good rotor and fuel filter and my battery go dead after a couple of days

Could be the alternator or a short circuit draining the battery-also check the idle air control valve, EGR and PCV valves and TPS and MAP sensors

You have a draw on the battery. Something is staying on. Ck. For any lights or switchs left on, the antenna motor or the trunk pulldown motor and visor lites for starters. Remove battery cable when not using the car. Check the codes by pushing off and warmer buttons on the a/c panel until you see all segments lit release and write the codes down. If you didnt replace the wires there is possible damaged wires. You really need to have the engine scoped. Gl

Is it front wheel drive or rear wheel drive because 5.7 is a rear wheel drive enigine?
