I have a 1990 Acura Legend, when I come to a stop, my idle will decrease and increase. If I let it go, and not add gas, it will stall after several cycles. If I add gas and let go, it will stall. Is it the idle air control? Can it be cleaned?

It could be the IAC, throttle body and idle speed adjustement.

They can be cleaned and carb cleaner works well.

Ensure coolant hoses to IAC is not clogged and you have sufficient coolant in system
