Please advise what the nipple on the outside of the air filter housing should be connected to? I bought the car recently and noticed that the nipple has no air hose connected to it. I just changed the spark plugs but the engine continues to run rough, especially when starting. Once it reaches operating temperature, it runs much better.

Thanks for your help.

WITHOUT A PIC OR OTHER INFO

I'M ASSUMING YOU HAVE A 258 (4.2L)?

'87 - '89 WRANGLERS ARE SORTA "OFFSPRING" OF THE LATER CJs---CJs ARE MY THING!

I MAY CAN HELP YOU GET RID OF THE CRAP--SHOULD YOU LIVE IN A REGION WHERE YOUR EMISSIONS ARE NOT CHECKED--OR ARE ALLOWED TO BE GRANDFATHERED SOMEHOW OR ANOTHER IN, BECAUSE OF IT'S AGE

OTHER THAN THIS "HOSE"---ANY OTHER ISSUES?

IF I'M NOT ON THE RIGHT THING--POST A PIC--POINTING AT IT
