Two relays under the hood on drivers side.
one brown and one green.
brown is for the fuel pump.
have charger hooked up to battery and green relay was loudly clicking.
unplugged the relay and clicking stopped.
what is causing this relay to click?
what is this green relay for?

That is the main system relay that is called the EEC relay. Check to see if the contacts are burnt.

I looked at the contacts of the green relays plug and they dont look burnt.
My red battery light in the dash, was fading in and out, last time I drove my bronco but, the amp gauge was showing a good charge?

You might try replacing that relay. They do fail.
