ACCELERATES VERY SLOWLY, TRANSMISSION IS CONTANTLY DOWNSHIFTING, WANTS TO STALL AT STOPLIGHTS.

Check and test the torque converter clutch solenoid

Make sure the fuel pump is up to preasure, this is a good start.
