Will one bad fuel injector keep a 1989 Chevy Celebrity from starting?

If the injector is flooding that cylinder out could cause a starting issue but I would think it would still start just run real bad. So does it try to start at all?

A bad injector may cause injector driver in the pcm to shut-down. It may kill all injectors, no ground.

Try unplugging the injector and see if it start's it won't run perfect but see if it start's.
