Hi Roy,
I am replacing the belt as it is showing signs of age (horizontal cracks across the v's in the belt) and yes I can move the tensioner, the belt on the engine seems too tight, no give at all. I believe the belt is the correct one, but have not installed the new one yet. The top piece of the tensioner has two arrows on it pointing toward the rear of the engine, and two lines on the plate which would be the back of the tensioner. Appears that it could be adjusted by twisting the cover? or perhaps it is set at the factory?
Thanks for your help.
