Is it possible that an exhaust manifold can make a car shake or vibrate. Coz I've replaced all of my mountings, front of motor, rear and transmission mount. Still vibrates. Please help. I've tried all I can. Knowing its an old car I've replaced a lot of new parts. Especially the suspension, today I even replaced the lower control arms thinking they to may have a role in the vibration. It is worse when I reverse.

Does it shake / vibrate at idle as well? if yes, are you sure it is not a mechanical / fuel injection issue?

This is difficult to diagnose over the internet. You need to take the car to a garage and have someone
test drive the car to get an accurate opinion on what the problem might be.
