History: in '04, bought car w/o leaks. During winter after an oil change the v/c gask started leaking a lot; we tightened the v/c and the leak stopped. In '09 it started again, and tightening didn't fit. In '10, I put in a new gasket; no leaking! UNTIL engine warmed up. Feared a warped v/c. Yesterday I put in another v/c and gasket; same thing. No leaking until after 15 min. Highway driving.
The pressure-release tube *was* cracked and oily, but no sign of heavy leaking around it.

Help? Thanks!

Oh, one typo - second line should read, "In '09 it started again, and tightening didn't fix."

How bad is engine blowby? Did you use silicone sealer to seal gasket in place? But you have to let it dry overnight before using.

Used old-school gasket cement, the instant-dry kind. Blowby. Not totally sure. There is some crud inside where the intake pipe connects to the intake. No oil in the air filter or anything.

What weight oil are you using? Are head drains clear/open? Does it leak all around or just specific area?
