Idle starts getting higher and higher

Hi! I am having a problem with my 88 Linoln Mark VII when the engine warms up the idle starts getting higher and higher The engine revs to 3,000 rpm's or more it idles fine when it is first started but climes up as it warms up. My brake light is on and my brake peddle is hard like not haveing power brakes this happend before and it was the ground on the anti lock control in the trunk but I checked that and the ground is fine any idea what can be done to fix these problems? -Check the idle air control valve and look for vacuum leak-start here

Get a dvom meeter and check the duty cycle on the iac motor. Also check the tps voltage @ idle cold and then hot
