1988 Honda Accord ignition

I turn the key off and the engine continues to run I unhooked the ignition switch from the tumbler and the main harness under the dash but it still continues to run?

Sounds like a bad electrical part of the ignition switch. So did you get it to turn off? What did you do to get it shut off? Get back to me and we will see what we can do from there.
