Turn key on pumps not comin on

Ok I unplugged wiring harnest to tank selector button on dash alittle while later I plugged it back in tried to start it wouldnt the pumps werent coming on the truck has always ran good I was driving it an hour before I did what I did the reason I unplugged it becaus I was trying to figure out why my gas gauge doesnt work on either tank what has caused the power loss 2 pumps

IT COULD ALSO BE THE IMPACT FUEL SHUT OFF SWITCH. IT IS LOCATED IN THE DRIVER FLOORBOARD TO THE LEFT OF THE STEERING COLUMN SHOULD BE A WHITE RESET BUTTON ON IT
