My car wont run over 35 miles per hour please help

If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned to identify trouble codes. Also, if there is no light on, check fuel pump pressure. (Directions on the homepage under the DIY section). If all is good, check engine timing. These vehicles have a common problem with timing belts.
