I LOOKED AT TWO ONLINE PARTS STORES

30 INCH WAS THE LONGEST I FOUND, NEITHER STORE DESIGNATED WHETHER IT WAS FOR THE POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE SIDE

THE "FATTER" THE CABLE, THE BETTER, ALONG WITH "THE SHORTEST IT CAN BE"

THAT GOES FOR ALL OF THE BATTERY AND SOLENOID CABLES, THIS WILL TRANSFER THE JUICE BETTER, ALONG WITH KEEPING THE CABLES COOL WHEN UNDER LOAD

I WOULD RECOMMEND "2 GAUGE" FOR THE GROUND.

AND BEING A FORD (AS WITH MY JEEPS) A "QUICK DISCONNECT" MIGHT BE IN ORDER, FOR WHEN YOU ARE WORKING ON STUFF, A "THEFT DETERRENT", AND MOST OF ALL, IF/ WHEN THE OLE SOLENOID HANGS UP (AND IT CONTINUES TO CRANK, ALL BY ITSELF!, AND NO TOOLS ARE ON HAND TO DISCONNECT MR. BATTERY)

HERE'S A LINK TO ONE INEXPENSIVE TYPE (TOP OR SIDE POST)

KEEP US POSTED ON YOUR PROGRESS WITH YOU RIG.
