Over heats under acceleration

Hi as any kindperson got any answers for me. Submited question a few times.1988 camaro 5l v8 rs heats under a little hard acceleration. All cooling parts replaced brand new water pump, bigger new radiator, temp sensors cylinder heads & gaskets

I'm not sure I understood your question? Are you saying the engine overheats?

Yes needle can go all the way to top mostly up hills but on flats & traffic needle at quarter

Does the cooling fan work ok? Some possibilities, thermostat--water pump-- coolant flow, a blocked passage somewhere-- A tranny issue? You can flush the cooling system, see if it helps.

You may need to use an analog gage in place of the sending unit, just to double check the gage. Or use one of those infra-red temp testers.

On older vehicles, I have just removed the thermostat, hooked everything backup, see if it helps? It will affect gas mileage or usually. I haven't had no thermostat, set a code on older vehicles.

Symptoms indicates inefficient cooling and the most common cause of such problems would be a partially clogged radiator, internally or externally.
