Can I get specifics for 1988 acura legend cv joint and complete axel replacement. Do I need to remove the disc brakes first and what else I did this on another car a long time ago.
is there a ball joint to remove etc.

Undo the axle nut, jack up and place body on stands, remove wheel and undo tie rod, undo both lower strut bolts and then you should be able to swing stub to one side and in doing so slid shaft out, you may have to give it a tap with a soft hammer to get it moving, place container under trans and with a suitable lever pop out inner end, then lift shaft clear.
