1987 Porsche 944 torque tube

How can I make sure the torque tube is in the correct position when I install back in motor.

As long as it slides in ok you should be ok. See install instructions in pic. Make sure to tighten tube bolts after eng/trans together. Unfortunately we have no torque specs.

I personally don't know but I looked on line at ap warehouse and they had Timken for $77 each that is a good brand.
