Not sure what mean by "switch" what is problem? Fuel pressure regulated by regulator see diagrams

If the car sits for a few days it won't start unless you give it a small shot of starting fluid. Then at low speed it will run rough and misfires. If you push the pedal down to speed up it will take of like a bear. I, ve been told it needs a new fuel pressure regulator.

Pressure test will tell if that's it 41-47 psi key on engine off. Attach guage to schrader valve on fuel rail
