Wiring problem wiring issue's. When I turn on headlights it pops a fuse and dash lights, dome and taillights go out. Previous owner wired stereo through cog lighter plug and when dome lights come on it cuts the stereo out. When I first got it 3 months ago it had no problem.

Did not get all the dialog. I would look at the harness at the switch. It is common form melting.

Disconnect the battery, take out the headlight switch, check the wires for cross over meaning any wire hitting the ground. Check the wires as ASEMasterr6371 mentioned for being burnt. Move towards the fuse panel and check for any wires that are pinched and make sure they ok. By the fuse panel check for any pinched wires. Sometimes when people rewire a care they wire them the shortest way and do not allow them to clear sharp edges that are under the dash and with movement of the car the wire will rub through and short out.
