I am losing oil pressure when coming to a stop

I have a 1986 monte carlo ss with a 305 we have rebuilt the engine new cam all new bearings (main, rob, and cam)all new gaskets new piston rings etc. Before and after the rebuild now it loses oil pressure after it warms up when you first start it up it holds about 40lbs when it warms up it drops to 10-25lbs going down the road it holds 25-30+lbs when you come to a stop it drops to 0 what is wrong we have even changed the part the oil filter screws to

Yes it has a new oil pump and when we rebuilt the engine we did everything to factory specs we used plastgauge and set everything

Check for a faulty oil pressure relief valve, I would start here.

To early to check on Mitchel 1 but it should be in the oil pump.
Oil pick up not sucking air? Not cracked in the pick up pipe?
