My 1985 fiero gt(manual transmission) appears the clutch is out, but not sure. Cant get it into gear, when I try to put it in reverse(the only spot it seems to want to let me shift into)it is grinding(fly wheel I assume not stopping?). Just want to know if it could be a cable or something, or if probably the clutch. Thanks, Jeff

The clutch disk and pressure plate are not the problem.
It's the release system that is hurting you.
Bleed the slave cylinder just like you would bleed your brakes.
If that doesn't fix it, then there are about 100 other things to try.

Post back after you bleed the slave and we'll go from there.
