How to remove steering column on 1985 Dodge Aries

The problem I am having is how to remove the column below the yoke I should be able to remove column inside the car and not out side of it, Column is ready to come out just at the firewall there should be a bolt to remove it Please help me and save me time Ray

There's a special bolt that has a pin going through it on the nut end. Remove that pin, then back the nut off. That nut will stay in place but it will push the bolt out, then you can swivel the coupling apart.
