My 6 cyl, 2.8L, 1985 camaro was running fine! Its in beautiful condition! Then the next morning I go out to start my baby and nothing! I wait for the fuel pump to get pressure. But when I turn the key the rest of the way theres no noise made from the starter or anything. I did notice a couple days before it died that it took a couple key turns before it would start. So I replaced the rotor in the distributor. Still nothing! The rotor was facing dead center so I dont think its timing. What could be wrong with my beautiful car?

The rotor can only go on one way. If the starter is turning the engine, check to see if you are getting fuel and spark to the engine. If the starter isn't working, make sure the battery is fully charged. Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. If should have 12+volts. If it does, chances are the starter is bad. If there isn't power, then check the starter relay.
