My 1984 jeep cj7 4cyl, 5 spd, trys to stall when I turn headlights on at a idle. Alternator tests good, voltage does not go below 13 volts on amp gauge when headlights are turned on, but does drop from 14v to 13v. Its not just the headlights that do it, the fan switch does it a little too thanks Gary

DO YOU HAVE AN ADVANCE AUTO PARTS NEAR YOU. OR ANOTHER STORE THAT CAN FULLY TEST YOUR BATTERY AND ALTERNATOR WHILE STILL ON YOUR RIG?

TELL 'EM TO USE THE "AMP CLAMP", MANY OF 'EM TRY TO "CHEAT" AND NOT USE IT!

IT NEEDS A LOAD TEST

VOLTS AND AMPS DIFFER----"VOLTS" IS "HOW FAST" THE CREEK IS MOVING----"AMPS" IS "HOW MUCH" WATER IS MOVING IN THE CREEK

HOW'S HE RUNNING OTHER THAN THAT?

DO YOU TAKE CARE OF HIM?

CAN YOU SEND PICS OF HIM AND OF INSIDE THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT?

ANY OTHER CJ QUESTIONS KEEP SHOOTING THEM HERE ON THIS THREAD

HAVE YOU PERFORMED ANY OTHER MODS TO THE IGNITION SYSTEM OR ADDED OTHER LIGHTS?
