Is it possible to convert an 84 gmc carburetor into fuel injection

Edelbrock does sell an EFI retrofit kit for the GMC 5.0, it sells for around $3,000.00 at summit. Com but probably the most reliable option out there, aside from a complete powertrain swap from a salvaged vehicle, which is much more difficult.
