turn cruise control on and engine goes to full accelleration, servo has just been replaced

I would say the ECM is interpreting the signal from the switch to accelerate. Check the switch. send an email to me at merlin2carpro@gmail.com and I will send you a PDF file for troubleshooting your CC system, put 84 vette in the subject please!
