Power loss, bad. Smoke. Noises. Plugs and wires new. Fuel filter new. Gas fresh, regular.

I have ascertained that the carbuerator is one of only two models: R4 - M4MC or R4 - M4ME.
This is a four barrel carb, with many vacuum lines, several of which, I am certain have been
misconnected, after plastic tees, broke, etc.

There is copious white smoke expressing out of the oil filler tube, when I remove the cap.
Oil is recently replaced.
Any general input would be helpful.
A diagram/ instructions as to the correct routing of all vacuum lines would seem helpful

HELP! Thanks.

If you have white smoke coming out of the oil filler and it's a lot then check pcv for plugged or the hose sucked together or plugged. Check your compression as that model year could be a bad cam as well which would not show under compression but if it is missing pull each plug wire to see what cylinder then pul a valve cover and start engine if one or two valves don't seem to be opening then it may be a bad cam/lifter. The vacuum diagram is for a 350 as you didn't put engine size down.
