Have a 1981 Cadillac Sedan DeVille 8, 6, 4 motor 6.0 litre. Car has been sitting for a couple of years. It was running when I drove it in driveway like I say couple of years ago. But now not getting any fuel to motor.I listened for the pump but I couldn't hear nothing. Does any body know what fuse run's the pump.I checked all the fuses and they were all good. But there was one by itself it was a 75 amp that I couldn't get anything from with test light. So does anybody know what fuse runs the fuel pump. Is it the one by itself or what.I want to check this before I drop the tank.

Release the connector at the back and check for voltage with key on engine off. It will be present for 2 seconds and then turn off. Most likely the pump has failed. You need to drop the tank anyway to get rid of all the old fuel, replace the pump, flush the lines all the way to the injectors.

The 75 amp fuse is not the fuse. The fuel pump uses a 15 amp fuse.
