1981 Buick Regal what could this be?

My 1981 buick regal was hit from behind and now it makes a kind of knocking or ticking sound now when I accelerate its kind of hesitant but it still runs what could that noise be I was told the engine and transmission motor mounts needed to be changed could that be it or could it be my fuel pump?I just inspecting the car and it looks like the gear shift arm is out of place or loose and so is the the gas line next to it, its not hooked on wear it usually goes.

Check underneathe the vehicle, especially the exhaust system for loose or broken hangers, clamps, etc. Check the shock absorbers bolts (top and bottom). I don't know how hard it was hit so basically you'll just have to check everything under the vehicle in the area where it was hit and then move toward the front as you check the other items.
