Usually starts up on its own before it coasts to a stop or will start back up easily. Happens regardless of whether the vehicle is warm/cold. Already replaced carburetor, fuel filter, ignition coil, and a suspect battery cable.

Good evening,

Sounds like you are losing spark.

Common failures are the coil, module, and the pick-up coil in the distributor.

What repairs have you tried?

Thanks for the suggestions. I've had the coil replaced already; I'll give the pick-up coil in the distributor a try next.

You are welcome.

I would suggest replacing the module at the same time.
