I have an rv that lost its prime in the fuel lines. I tried to siphon, but could only get a trickle. I know there is gas because I put 3 gallons in the tank.

Disconnect the fuel hose at the fuel filter and slap on the gauge and read the fuel pressure and get back with the readings

Fuel pump pushes/draws fuel it depends on howow the fuel system is set up-could be high and low pressure pumps, again it depends
