I have a 1972 ford f250 custom with a 300 straight 6 jus got it runnin after a year of sittin in the mountains when I put it in gear and try to get to speed it spudders but when its idling it sounds great. Ive replaced points and condensor, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, voltage regulator, coil, brand new carb, asnd the motor has 2400 on a rebuild.

Did you adjust the ignition timing after you replace the points/condenser-and gapped properly if not check the ignition timing again and check the tranny fluid condition and level-

I ran a timing light on it and flushed the transmission fluid and put a new tranny filter in.
