What causes a vibration in park, or in gear, and driving. Didnt start till owner changed automatic transmission. Tightned torque converter - flywheel bolts. Checked motor mounts.

Used, rebuilt?

Torque converter could be the issue. If it is bad, it will vibrate badly

Have a 1969 Mercury Cougar 2 barrel carberator. The car was running and driving a week ago now when it starts it runs a minute or so then begins to push gas out of the top of carberator. Changed the carberator and still does the same thing. It acts like it stops burning the fuel like its not getting spark. Could it be the coil? Figure it wouldnt start at all if it was the points.
