Her is the scoop, we have changed the starter, solenoid, ignition switch and the car will not even turn over. The ignition lights are on, but the car will not turn over. The shifter on the steering column used to have to be yanked all to park in the past to get he car to turn over. It has sat for 8-10 years without stating. It is in good condition. We have jumped it arcing the to points on the solenoid but the car will only run for a few seconds. I am thinking it could be the neutral safety switch or the shifter needs adjusting. I am a novice mechanic. Thoughts.
