Will a fuel sender from a 1967 Riviera Fit a 1966 Riviera?

I need a fuel sender for a 1966 Riviera. I can't find one on e-bay, but I have seen some for sale from other years. Will a fuel sender from a 67 or 68 Riviera fit on a 66 Riviera? Do you know the part number for a 66 Riviera fuel sender? Thanks for reading this.

Dunno the P/N -1/2yr apart -give it a shot or do some fabrication to fit it-or just use an external type

I'm sorry, but I don't have info from that far back. As far as replacement, we only recommend direct fit parts. I will say this, back then things didn't change as fast as they do today, so they could work.
