My ford 4 cylinder is running off the battery. I need help in correcting. You need more characters.I'm sorry, I don't know what else to type, at this moment. I can say, the motor is used as an auxillary type for a log splitter. It would be right of me to say also, the alternator is working properly.

MAY BE THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR

IT MAY BE OK. ON SOME EARLIER FORDS THE CONNECTOR DOES NOT MAKE GOOD CONTACT

I HAVE "SLIGHTLY" BENT THE SPADES SO THAT THEY SORTA "DIG INTO" THE MATING SIDE

INSURE ANY CONNECTIONS ON THE SYSTEM ARE STILL CLEAN AND TIGHT (I'M MAINLY TALKING ABOUT SPLICES OR BUTT SPLICES. IF THEY STAY OUT IN THE WEATHER, THEY MAY BE TARNISHED (FOR LACK OF A BETTER WORD)
