1.3 L engine

I own a car which is exactly like the Mazda Protege but since I live in Colombia, South America the car is assembled here and called the Allegro.
My car has the most common 1.3 Liter Allegro engine but I have googled this engine for hours and cant find any information at all on the internet.
Can you please tell me where I can find internet information on this engine?
The U.S. Is treating the engine like it doesn't exists. Here the late Allegro is sold from 2000 to 2008, the Protege until 2003 only. We have two versions, 1.3 L and 1.6 L. There is lots of information available on the 1.6 L (same as in the Protege) but nothing on the 1.3 L engine.

Depending on what you want to do to the engine, it may all be the same as a 1.6L the difference being bore or stroke. Also whether carbureted or fuel injected and what type of injection
