Will not stay running, code P0601

I replaced the starter. It starts and shuts right down. No gauges are working and they were before replacing starter. I have to wait for daytime running lights to go off before trying to restart and I am pulling a p0601 code. After trying to start it idles for five seconds than shuts down and I have to wait a minute before I can get it to turn over again. I have no other codes. Please help

The 601 is troubling. It detects a possible PCM or TCM failure.

Description

This diagnostic applies to internal microprocessor integrity conditions within the power-train control module (PCM). This diagnostic also addresses if the PCM is not programmed.
