I have an 02 Ford Mustang GT with 145000 miles on it, I took it to a auto shop they told me I had to replace the power steering pump so that's what we did and the noise is still there. When I accelerate to 30 mph the noise gets worse but when I turn right the noise stops, turning left thenoise remains. What else would I need to check? I got a balance and tire rotation done as well

Turn wheel fully to left to lock hold it there for 20 seconds then do the same to the right. Repat 3 times and see if sound goes away. Then check p/s fluid. It may have air in it

I tried what you suggested, noise is still there. Would the wheel bearing or hub cause this noise also?
