Changed alternator, got new battery. Started one time and by morning the battery was completely dead. Got another new battery, that one was bad. Started right up by by morning this battery was dead too. Checked starter relay, it was bad. Got new one. Started right up. I have been unhooking the battery every time I get out because I am scared it will not start. Driving home I barely got off freeway when car shut off and would not start. Since I did all that repairs I am wondering if there is a reset I need to do. Please help me. I am going broke over this car.

Good morning.

The first thing I would do is to check the charging system to be sure the alternator is recharging the battery. You need a voltmeter at the battery with the engine running and look for 14 to 14.5 volts.

As far as the drain, you will need to do a parasitic draw test to determine what in the truck is causing the drain.

No, there is not reset. That stuff is a myth.
