Wont start

I have a 1999 infiniti g20. And when I put the key in the ignition everything electrical turns on. But then when I turn it to start the car everything cuts off. Whats wrong?

"What's wrong" is what needs to be diagnosed. To start with, follow the smaller positive battery wire to the under-hood fuse box and be sure that connection is clean and tight. A bad connection there causes 99 percent of these problems. Follow the smaller negative battery wire to the body and be sure that one is tight and not rusty.

Loose or dirty battery cables can cause this too.
