Asked on June 6, 2008
1993 Infiniti G20 Car won't start. Engine turns over.
The car worked fine yesterday.
I removed the radio.
With the radio still removed I tried to start the car.
The engine will turn over however it does not start.
Battery is ok
Engine does not seem to be firing.
Is there some anti theft device that I am not aware of?

If equipped with a theft deterent system, the radio removal will disable the ignition. Check your owners manual for information.
Additionally, the radio wiring has wires that are "hot all the time" so you may have a hot wire that is grounding.

Thanks for the information.
We just bought this car and it did not come with an owners manual. However we did find that a blown fuse is what caused this condition. As soon as we replaced the 10amp fuse the engine fired and started. We still do not know what caused the fuse to blow.
