Turn the key and nothing, no dash lights! I have tried many times ans 2 or 3 times the dash lights came on but as soon as I turned it all the way over so the starter would kick they went out and nothing? The battery has been checked and is good. I checked all the fueses under the dash and under the hood and they are good. I have not a good idea? Nurtal safety switch?

Forget the neutral safety switch. That will make the starter inoperative but it won't affect all the other electronics. The best suspect is to follow the smaller battery positive wire to the under-hood fuse box and be sure that connection is clean and tight. Also follow the smaller battery negative wire to the body and be sure that connection is tight and not rusty.

OK will do, Also a note I just has a mechanic put on a new shiftier to transmission cable and I noticed that the interlock solenoid was no longer working as it should but the van started and ran. It would start with and shift with out my foot on the break. I used it for a few days and then this happened.

OK I'm out from under ther and hitting it with the hammer didn't work went back under there for round two and nothing! I see when I turn on the key and the dash lights come on then turn all the way to the starter it clicks and at that moment all the dash lights go out. I have to turn off the key and return on to get the lights and gauges back on. !

It was a loose and dirty positive cable at the battery.
