Clearly if this just happened after the transmission replacement, we need to go back over most of the connections, especially those of the PCM.

Also, we need to check the crank shaft position sensor as this is what the PCM uses for ignition and fuel system timing.

Let's start with these and go from there. Thanks

Reset transmission. Finally started and then cut off. Cannot find inertia switch/fuel cut off to reset?

These trucks do not have shut off switches like Ford's do. They have a rollover valve in the fuel tank that will cut the fuel off.

Can you give a little more detail about how and why you reset the transmission? That may help a little bit with what happened. Before you said it was replaced so if it was just reset then we just need to dig into that a little more.

Thanks

Originally I change the transmission. And it would not start: no ignition, no gas?
I checked crank sensor, and several fuses and relays.
And then I tried several resets.
When I reset the transmission the truck started, and than cut off.
It continues to start, and immediately cuts-off.
Note: when and put gas in the Car. It runs and then cuts off.

Does the theft light turn off when you turn the key to the on position? It should turn off after about 3 seconds. Let me know this and we can take the next steps. Thanks
