Stuck in one gear. I do have reverse and one forward gear That will not change I did reset the TCM, and it ran fine for a few miles. Started it the next day, engine light came back on and no shifting again. Engine codes P0888, P0562, P0750, p0700.

Okay, the P0700 code is one that pops up if you use a simple code reader, it just means that the transmission has set a code and wants the MIL light turned on. The other 3 codes, however, are all related to battery power being low to the transmission. The first thing I would check is the powers and grounds to the transmission. Check the alternator output using a meter. Start the engine and check what voltage it is charging at. Over 13 will be good. Next clean and check the ground and power leads from the battery to the engine and fuse panel. Then check fuses 20 and 23 in the under-hood power center. Corrosion or failure would set all 3 codes, however if a TCM reset made it work for a bit then I suspect it's not a bad fuse but corrosion in the circuit causing a low voltage condition. So next remove the transmission control relay and check its terminals for corrosion, use a test light connected to ground to check for voltage at pin 30 in the relay socket. Now connect the test light to battery power and probe terminal 85, that is the relay ground. The light should come on. Next stop is to test for those powers and grounds at the powertrain and transmission control modules. For this you should use the special break out box (Miller tool # 8815B Set down before you look up that tools price!

To allow you to test with the transmission still connected. However, without the tool there are a few things you can check, first go under the truck and check the wiring harness to the transmission, is it in good shape? No nicks or damage? Unplug the connector from the transmission, inspect it for corrosion. Is it clean and dry? If not, you likely found the problem. Chrysler has a lot of issues with connector failures and corrosion at power and ground connections. If you get this far and haven't found anything then report back and we can get into the internal testing, but I'm thinking you will have found the problem in the wiring.

Thanks for your help. It was a ground problem. The shifting and gas mileage is back to normal Driven in the truck about 60 miles with no problems, thank you once again.
