Unfortunately Mercedes does not list this retrofit exactly. They list about 50 different retrofits but they don't list this specific one. The closest thing they have is a retrofit to an AMG steering wheel. I attached that for your review with the understanding that it is not exactly what you asked for.

Also, here is a guide that will help remove the steering wheel in case you chose to go this route instead:

To address your question, the best thing I can suggest is to call MB directly and see if they have something they did not publish to the aftermarket.

Also, just to clarify, did you purchase an aftermarket kit or are you trying to retrofit this from another vehicle?

Nope. It is not true. I have checked very deeply this subject and first of all I found in WIS whole retrofit manual with all necessary details even where to find looms numbers needed to buy for this retro. Now I am after this retrofit and steering wheel heating works perfect! I can share this manual if necessary and I can share my experience with it. It is very simple. In 212 after 2014 is more simple than in models from years 2012/2013 and more more simple than in earlier models with 4 arm steering wheel.

That is great info. Thanks.

However, just to clarify, I wasn't telling you that it was not possible but instead that Mercedes didn't list this in their OEM manual. They listed a whole bunch of different retrofits and this was not one.

I am glad that you found a source that listed this, so any details that you can provide would be great. Even if you just give details on the source of this WIS manual as that will surely help others that wish to do this in the future.

Thanks again
